"SIT N SEA" is the name we came up with for this 4th Floor Unit with a breathtaking view located in the Island Winds West building on west beach in Gulf Shores Alabama !! We picked this unique name because this unit is so close to the beautiful gulf waters that you can see the dolphins playing from the balcony. One of our favorite things to do while we are there is to sit on the balcony in the mornings drinking coffee looking out into the sea and watching the dolphins play. Usually you can see them playing in the early mornings and evenings. 

 Island Winds west condominium is a low density condo and is right on the sugar white sandy beach and is located 1/4 mile west of Gulf Shores Pkwy on West Beach Blvd and is centrally located in Gulf Shores and close to grocery stores, restaurants, water parks, amusement parks and golf courses.  This vacation rental is walking distance to many restaurants and souvenir shops.

Island Winds West also has a beach-side pool with a separate kiddie pool for a relaxing pool experience while looking at the beautiful view. There is also a small fitness room located on the second floor and a BBQ area with picnic tables close to the pool area.

The balcony offers a breathtaking direct ocean view. and is accessed through the living room.

 This 2 Bedroom/ 2 Bath unit was completely remodeled (spring 2018) with high-end finishes that include:

 Master Bedroom has a king size bed with a Serta pillow-top mattress and a wall-mounted flat screen Smart TV. The view from the master is awesome!!!

The second bedroom has a queen size and a twin size bed that both have Serta pillow-top mattresses and a wall-mounted flat screen TV. The second bathroom is only accessible from this bedroom.   

 A fully remodeled, upgraded Kitchen with everything needed to make this condo your home away from home. It has brand new white cabinets offset with a dark granite counter top and a beachy tiled back-splash complemented with stainless steel appliances and is stocked with everything you need to prepare meals for your family. 

 Both bathrooms were completely remodeled with white cabinets offset with dark granite counter tops that match the kitchen. 

 Never worry about running out of clean clothes or linens because there is a full sized stacked washer and dryer in this unit that has been properly vented and a new (2017) HVAC unit so humidity in this unit will not be an issue. 

 The exterior of the building went through a $3.4 million remodel (Fall 2017) and there are now floor to ceiling windows with a sliding door in the living room that leads out to the balcony so the view that has always been great is now better than ever!! 

The Living Room has a 55" wall-mounted flat screen Smart TV, a love-seat and a matching queen size sleeper sofa bringing the sleeping capacity in this unit to 7 guests.

NOTE: The HOA charges $25 per parking pass that you will have to pay for at the time of check in at the Island Winds East building next door at the front desk located on the west side under the building by the pool. You may purchase up to 2 parking passes for this unit. During special events the HOA reserves the right to limit each unit to 1 parking pass. The HOA requires guests to pay them directly for parking passes therefore it IS NOT included in your quote. The price of parking passes is regulated by the HOA and prices are subject to change at the HOA discretion.

I strongly recommend that you purchase the Terrys Beach Rentals guarantee plan or a good cancel for any reason (CFAR)  travel insurance policy to protect your vacation investment. I WILL NOT approve a refund for any cancellation outside of the cancellation range for any unforeseen circumstances such as a family emergency, pandemics, inclement weather or hurricanes. Please make sure you understand any exclusions the plan you choose may have so you are protected.   

Guests must provide a credit card for us to place a hold on in lieu of a security deposit and a copy of a state issued photo ID matching the name on the credit card used for payment before check in instructions and door codes will be provided
