I just purchased on 1/15/25 listed on vrbo 1/17/25 that's why there isn't any reviews.

The pictures on this listing are current however this unit is getting remodeled in March so upon arrival, the unit will not look like these pictures. We are scraping the popcorn ceilings, installing new bathroom vanities with granite tops, replacing the bedroom carpet with hard surface flooring, painting the whole unit, getting a new leather sleeper sofa and 2 leather rocker/swivel recliners, getting a new washer/dryer and all new stainless steel appliances in the kitchen.

Welcome to "DOG STAYS & GULF WAVES," located on the 2nd Floor of the Caribbean complex in Gulf Shores, Alabama! You'll love the relaxing feeling you get when you step foot in this unit. We came up with this unique name because this unit is dog-friendly. Imagine relaxing on the balcony watching the Gulf waves crash against the white sandy beach and having your dog with you!

As soon as you arrive, you'll be ready to trade your traveling clothes for your swimsuit and head outside. You have several options because the Caribbean has an indoor pool, a Gulf-front outdoor pool, or the beautiful Gulf of Mexico is only a few steps away!

The indoor pool is a great place to watch the kids splash when it's time to take a break from the sunshine.

Other on-site amenities include a sauna, exercise room, BBQ area, and steam room.

When you return to your condo, you'll feel at home with island accents and hard surface flooring throughout.

Extending your indoor space outdoors is your private balcony, which overlooks the outdoor pool and the Gulf of Mexico. Your balcony is equipped with a table and chairs, a great spot for conversation, watching the gorgeous Gulf sunsets, or catching up on the morning news while sipping a cup of coffee in the morning and watching the dolphins play.

The open floor plan allows everyone to stay together whether you are preparing a meal in the fully equipped kitchen, sitting at the dining table playing a board game, or relaxing in the comfortable living room.

This charming one-bedroom, 2nd-floor condo accommodates up to 6 guests. There's a king-bedded room, a set of tucked-away bunk beds, and a sleeper sofa in the living room. There is also a washer and dryer in the unit so you do not have to worry with packing your laundry somewhere to launder!

Bring your dog with you for a fee of just $200! 2-dogs, that are 30 pounds or less, are allowed. Dogs must be leashed at all times when they are not in the unit. Gulf Shores does not allow pets on the beach.

Located 1.3 miles west of the busy Gulf Shores public beach area, this condo is in the perfect location for accessing lots of dining options, attractions, shopping and other fun things to do.

This unit is operated by Terrys Vacation Rentals! Terrys Vacation rentals focuses on offering 5 star properties for family vacations! We enjoy hosting families while they are on vacation making memories that will last a lifetime! Terrys vacation rentals operates several units in Gulf Shores and Foley Alabama. I have several units in this building, and several other units nearby, so if you are traveling with friends and family and need more than one unit for the same dates contact me and we can work to make that happen.

Other things to note:
1. Guests will receive an email after the reservation is made to esign the rental agreement and provide a guest list. When completing the rental agreement a copy of the primary renters drivers license must be uploaded to the rental agreement. Check in instructions and door codes will not be provided until this has been completed. Reservations may be canceled, at our discretion, if this is not completed within 24 hours.

2. Guests will receive another email after the reservation is made for guests to provide a credit card to put on file so we can place a security deposit hold, in the amount of $500, on 3 days prior to the check in date. We are an API integrated owner so we collect our security deposit hold through our booking software, not through the Airbnb or VRBO site. Check in instructions and door codes will not be provided until a security deposit hold is successfully placed.

3. We offer a contactless check in. The door code and check in instructions will be emailed to you 3 days before arrival as long as all required information has been provided.

4. Minimum age of the primary renter is 25 years old. No 3rd party bookings allowed!

1 parking pass is included with your reservation. 1 additional parking pass can be purchased upon request. Please notify me before arrival if you need a 2nd parking pass so the cleaner can leave it there while she is there.

Per industry standard we supply a starter set that includes one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, 1 roll of paper towels, 1 bar of hand soap in each bathroom, 1 dish washer tablet, one trash bag in each can, and 1 laundry detergent tablet is provided. This is intended to get you by until you get to the store to buy the supplies you need.
